ECU Engineering Buildings

We delivered Edith Cowan University'a Engineering Buildings 23 and 24. Building 23 comprises a three level concrete frame structure with  precast panel walls and aluminium glazed facades. Building 24, a standalone services building housing chillers and an electrical substation structure formed of a concrete frame and panels.

The total floor area is approximately 8000m². The internal fit out extended to floor finishes and ceilings throughout, while external finishes included the car park civil works and landscaping to match the existing on campus.

 

A special façade feature involved a one kilometre elliptical aluminium sun shades to the north and east elevations, while the top floor is a structural steel frame with a Colourbond roof.
